Bespoke(n) at the V & A: Friday 28 February

The writing and tailoring project Bespoke(n) will be exhibiting at the V&A on Friday 28 February 2014 as part of the Friday Late: Hackney Wick Takeover.

Our part of the exhibition will centre around our talented tailoress, Nathalie Limon, who will be exhibiting a coat made from fabrics associated with the history of Hackney Wick, as well as utilising the Meldola Blue dye that was synthesised in the same neighbourhood as her Wick-based studio in the 1800s.

Four of my quasi-verbatim poems (constructed, in the most part, from interviews with Nathalie about tailoring processes) will also be on display. For those of you unable to make it (free entry, 18:30-22:00), the audio poems are available below.
